Hi guys! It’s Friday! I’m so super excited about this Friday. Tomorrow is my anniversary and I’m looking forward to just spending time with S. It’s been a very busy week and I figured I’d share some of my favorites from it. Happy reading!
With baseball season well underway, Bug and I have been going to practice solo for a few evenings. Saturday, we decided it would be nice to sit down and have a conversation of donuts. We stopped at Duck Donuts for warm donuts and fun conversation. I ordered the Beachball (on the right). S. ordered the Oreo Lover’s (middle), and I got a Maple Icing with Chopped Bacon for us to split. They were all so yummy and we had about 20 minutes of uninterrupted conversation with sticky fingers and full tummies at the end.
One of my good friends recently purchase a new home with her husband. She is in the process of getting rid of items she no longer needs or items that will no longer work for the decor of the new home. She asked if we were interested in a new dressed and I jumped on the opportunity. Honeybee’s dresser fell apart quite some time ago with all of the wear and tear a energetic young lady like her gives it. We were going to purchase a replacement and could find nothing we liked. We saw this, jumped at the chance, and it is now resting comfortably in Honeybee’s room along with butterflies and other cute designs. I can’t wait to share it with you when it’s all done.
So you guys know I’m kind of a zombie fan, right? So, I’ve been reading the Dangerous Days series by Baileigh Higgins and am getting some interest in the story. There are some things I don’t like (most authors do really tell you the kids get it, it’s implied). But it’s a pretty good read for those in the genre. If you’d like to read the series, I included the link below.
My sister is amazing! I came home this week to a box filled with beautiful shoes, dresses, outfits, and headbands for baby A. It was too cute! She’s just getting started however. She has a box for the other children coming as well. I love her and the kids absolutely adore her! (Look at those headbands!!)
We locked on tickets to an anniversary cruise this week. I’m really looking forward to this adventure and hope my husband and I enjoy the experience. I’ll be sure to write a recap as soon as I can.
So, there you go. That’s it in a nutshell. My Friday Frazzled faves.
