Hello everyone. I’ve been waiting to share this one for a while. It’s the recap of our trip to Paradisus Punta Cana! It’s been three years since we visited the Dominican Republic, three years since we stopped by Paradisus Palma Real (see that post here). This time, we invited my brother and sister in love and their spouses. Yep, S.’s brother and his wife and his sister and her husband joined us for a really beautiful trip, a couples’ vacation that we will definitely have to repeat in the future.

The lovely walk outside our room |
We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon where we were greeted with a welcome drink and a chance to sit down and rest while our rooms were prepared. We met our concierge who took great care of us while there. The first room of three was ready within the first ten minutes of our arrival. We took a luggage tram to the room to wait until everyone’s room was ready since they were side by side. It wasn’t necessary though. They were finished as soon as we got there! They were quite nice and the air conditioning was amazing!
The first thing we did after getting settled was seek something to eat. The food was pretty yummy and always plentiful. The buffets were sometimes a bit limiting, but the restaurants made up for that. There were numerous choices, but my favorite had to be Mole’, the Mexican stop. It was fantastic! The chicken fajitas were spectacular and the fried cheese was amazing. You all know I’m a cheese girl, so I was in heaven. Add to the the tres leches cake and the margaritas and your girl was on cloud nine!
Everyone was amazingly friendly and went above and beyond to make it a special trip. From taking photos to recommending excursions to just remembering that you loved “steak and lobster [inside joke for the family following the blog]”, it was just a fun time. And the beach? The beach was phenomenal.

Yes, those are my sand covered piggies and I have no shame LOL… |
I think my favorite part of the trip was the underwater excursion where S. and I and his sister and her husband walked the ocean floor while looking at fish. It was beautiful and a bucket list item for sure. I conquered something I don’t think I would have been willing to try before. I loved doing it and the DVD wasn’t bad either!
Overall, it was a great trip and I hope to take another one with our travelers in the future. They were an awesome group and I really enjoyed myself!
Special thanks to the loving family members who took care of our littles for us while we were gone. We knew they were in great hands.
