Hello everyone! I hope it’s been a fantastic week for you! It’s been a mixed bag for me. Some days have been wonderful. Others, like after the news of another mass shooting, not so much. I’ve been enjoying the link up with Narci, Erika, and Andrea so I decided to continue it. Here is my week in review and a few favorites too!
College Days
If you follow the blog, you already know the Saturday was my return to my college days at the Greatest Homecoming on Earth, aka #GHOE with S. and mutual couple friends. We had a ball all weekend and it was amazing to see how much things had changed.
The party at the end was phenomenal and one I will definitely duplicate should I go next year.
Rock the Vote
Tuesday was Election Day for the nation. I was so thrilled to see all of the families out there voting together. I took Bug with me and though he didn’t get it initially, by the end of the trip…he absolutely did. Viva la democracy.
I’m Progressing
Do you guys remember that amazing Friday night I had a few weekends ago when our Women’s Ministry hosted the Women’s Lock-in? Well, I’ve been playing some of the lessons taught by our beautiful Master Make Up artist and decided to do a bit of extra for our Wednesday night Grateful Service. I worked what I could work using my new favorites Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream in Milan-Mid-Tone Blue-Toned Pink and Nyx Stay Matte but Not Flat Liquid Foundation (https://www.nyxcosmetics.com/stay-matte-but-not-flat-liquid-foundation/NYX_067.html?cgid=foundation) in Nutmeg.

My Big Girl
Yesterday, my Honeybee came downstairs in an outfit we’d picked out together and my breath caught. She’s such a big girl now. It really hit me hard that in a few more months, we will be registering her for Kindergarten. She’ll be riding on a school bus (or in the car). She’ll be experiencing new things and new opportunities. She’s growing into such an articulate and caring young lady. I love this picture of her because it speaks volumes about just how great God has been in blessing her.
