PREGNANCY WEEK 13- 31 Jan-6 February 2019
Hello everyone! What an interesting week 13 has been. My app says this is the first week of my second trimester. Yay! I wish I could say it was the immediate end of morning sickness and feeling yucky, but nope. I’ve still had some pretty harrowing days of sickness in there including as recent as Monday night. Blech. I am hoping this will stop soon. The weather has been absolutely beautiful this week with temperatures in the 60s and 70s. After our polar vortex temps last week, I have NO complaints!
I was able to take the kids outside this week and let them play at the playground. It’s awesome to see the girls run around behind each other and be excited about warm temperatures.

On to this week’s update!!!
How far along: 13 weeks
How big is baby: the size of a lemon (I love the smell of lemons!)
Gender: Unknown
Events of this week: This week was Superbowl Sunday. I have to admit I wasn’t too excited about this week as I’m not a huge fan of the Patriots, but I love a competition and am always willing to cheer for the underdogs. We watched the game at home with pizza, wings, and pasta. Perfect.
Symptoms: Still nauseous on occasion, but usually because I haven’t eaten in a while.
Exercise/Activity: My activity has honestly been limited to chasing the kids. Though I have been walking more thanks to warmer weather!
Sleep: Suddenly, I’m always in the bathroom. What in the world?! I thought that phase was over?!
Maternity clothes: No. I’m still not in maternity clothes. But I have no complaints about that. I may need a maternity bra soon though. My breasts are suddenly huge.
Stretch marks: The old ones from my previous pregnancies.
Belly Button: In.
Food cravings: Not really. Watermelon would be nice, but I’m not really craving it.
Food aversions: The smell of coffee still makes me very nauseous.
Movement: I promise I’m feeling flutters.
Best Moment of the Week: playing outside with the kids. It was nice to see some warm weather.
Worst Moment of the Week: Car trouble.
What I’m looking forward to: Spending some time with the kids on Friday. S. has his Men’s Night event and I’m looking forward to hanging with the kids.
What I’m nervous about/praying for: Praying for a healthy baby, for those who are suffering and in want, for our nation
What I miss: Nothing
Any milestone: Welcome to the second trimester!
