PREGNANCY WEEK 15: 13-20 February 2019
Hello everyone! I hope you’ve been enjoying your week. It’s been all kinds of fun with us. We had several inches of snow, then sleet, then rain today. That meant schools and work were closed. I didn’t mind. I was still able to get some work done from home, but wow…the weather has been trippy. That being said it has been the perfect excuse for warm soup and grilled cheese. I am ALL for that! In other news, pray for a mama. I’m planning Honeybee’s 5th birthday party and S. keeps leaning toward a sleepover with her cousins. I’m not quite sure I’m up for that challenge yet.
How far along: 15 weeks
How big is baby: the size of an apple. I promise I should make apple pie just because…
Gender: Unknown
Events of this week: Bug got over the flu and returned to school for the first time on Tuesday. Unfortunately, baby A. started getting sick on Sunday afternoon and we had to go to the doctor for a diagnosis. Thankfully, it was a virus and NOT the flu. That was such a blessing!
Symptoms: Nausea remains. Along with extreme fatigue, thirst, and occasional headaches. Talking to the doctor about them all tomorrow.
Exercise/Activity: Aside from the walking I do within the office and lunch, there isn’t too much exercising I’ve been doing.
Sleep: I’m still waking at night to go to the bathroom. The snoring is still occur, but the snore vents are definitely helping.
Maternity clothes: The other day I wore both maternity pants and shirt. I wore for comfort and laziness more than function. But the rest of the week has been normal clothes.
Stretch marks: Yep. I noticed some new ones today.
Belly Button: In.
Food cravings: I had my turkey and cheese on cinnamon raisin toast with dill pickles the other day. That is my ultimate preggo lunch.
Food aversions: Coffee still smells yucky.
Movement: Yes, I feel flutters from time to time, but nothing majorly consistent.
Best Moment of the Week: Honestly, it was a productive meeting I had at work that made me so excited. It was probably the most productive meeting I’ve had in six months and I was really pleased about it.
Worst Moment of the Week: The fatigue and thirst are bothersome. I feel much more ill than I think I should be. I hope to get some answers soon.
What I’m looking forward to: My doctor’s appointment tomorrow and Honeybee’s birthday.
What I’m nervous about/praying for: Praying for a healthy baby, for those who are suffering and in want, for our nation
What I miss: Nothing
