Week 23: 17-24 April 2019
This week’s video:
Hello everyone. This week culminated in the diagnosis of our 19 month old with Influenza A. Her daycare called us Monday and told us of her 102 degree fever. I immediately picked her up and made an appointment for yesterday.
How far along: 24 weeks
How big is baby: the size of an ear of corn
Weight gained: 16 pounds
Gender: Unknown (Team Green)
Events of this week:Celebrated 7 years of marriage on April 21st. Because baby A. was still technically in quarantine, the family opted to stay home from church and watched Passion of Christ and had an impromptu Bible teaching/lesson. It was the perfect way to celebrate Easter Sunday and our anniversary. Prepping for: Honeybee’s Kindergarten Registration and my Obstetrics appointment both on Thursday
Symptoms:TIRED: I really just want a comfortable night’s sleep. I keep tossing and turning because the belly is growing for real!
INCONTINENCE: It still remains. If I sneeze, I pee. If I cough, I pee. SHORTNESS OF BREATH: I’m really getting winded these days. I’m hoping that it will calm down some as I start the evening walks with Bug and the family.
Baby purchases: Not this week. I am eyeing a new diaper bag and am debating on whether I want to get a diaper bag or a diaper backpack. The picture to the left show my contenders.
Stretch marks: Yep!
Belly Button:In.
Food cravings: I’m still loving my cherry Icees, but I have been craving baby carrots and cucumbers again. I also have a weird craving for seafood salad, but I left that one alone.
Food aversions: Not really
Sleep: I promise I need to purchase one of the pregnancy pillows I keep hearing about and seeing advertised. I miss sleep. Movement: Yes. The family can now feel the baby as well, though the kids don’t like the way the kicks feel.
Best Moment(s) of the Week: Easter Sunday and our anniversary
Not so great moment: Man, I get cranky when I don’t eat every two hours. Happy or Moody: I’m in a pretty chill mood. Looking forward to: My girlfriend is having a baby shower this weekend. I can’t wait to celebrate her newest arrival!!
