Friday Frazzle: Friday Favorites

Hi everyone!  This week has been something!  Baby A. caught remnants of her father’s illness.  That meant soaring fevers, visits to the doctor, multiple visits to the pharmacy after she knocked over the entire bottle of amoxicillin 😭, and finally the joy of seeing her come back to the bouncing and happy baby girl I know she is!  This week also lent itself to some pretty cool favorites.  Since it’s been a while since I’ve done a link up, I thought it would be fun to Link up with Narci from Grace and Love , Ericka from A Little Bit of Everything, and Andrea from Momfessionals.  I hope you enjoy these items as much as I do.

Oh my goodness!!!  Guys, I’m a fan of Spring.  I love the longer days, the blooming flowers, and the rebirth of everything.  But one thing I absolutely LOVE to have during the Spring season is Lemon.  I’m talking Lemon anything.  Lemon cookies, lemon bars, lemon Icee.  It just screams spring to me, so it stood to reason that when these beautiful items popped up in my inbox I had to purchase!  Besides, I’m a HUGE Sparkle in Pink fan and I so recommend you visit them for cute and unique quality items.

April 2nd was World Autism Awareness Day.  I was pleased that my church and network of friends and family all around the world were collectively posting their support for the Autism cause.  I am proud Auntie to two nephews diagnosed with autism.  They are amazing young men and I am so proud to be in their circle.  My sister posted this amazing picture of a beaded autism awareness bracelet.  I love it and think it’s a fantastic piece.
After our exhausting week, I needed a quick and yummy recipe to put on the table before everyone went to practices, Bible Study, rehearsal, etc.  This Sheet Pan Shrimp Fajita recipe worked great.  I used the linked recipe as a base and added a few of my own spices and twists to make a meal that the family went gaga over.  It’s a healthy meal with plenty of protein and nutrients from the shrimp and green/yellow peppers.  I definitely recommend.

It’s always sad when a business shutters its doors for good.  The same is true for Gymboree, a favorite of mine since Bug was little.  When the store announced it’s bankruptcy, I paid attention to the store and its counterparts knowing that a sale would be helpful for stocking up on neutral baby palates.  It looks like the time has come.  I’ll be visiting the store and online soon to see if there are a few items available for pick up.

I’m a firm believer that God gives you confirmation and messages exactly where you are and exactly when you need them.  I’ve been debating about taking a major leap forward on some things and have been holding back because, frankly, I’ve been afraid.  I know that FEAR is only False Evidence Appearing Real, but that appearance is something serious, friends!  I was scrolling through my Instagram timeline last night and this was at the top of the list.  I’m an Insta-follower of the Lindseys and I like the transparency they show in their walk with Jesus.  This post was a confirmation that God said I could do it, told me to do it, and there should be no fear in moving forward.  What an amazing God I serve!
Welp, that’s all in my neck of the woods for today.  I hope you have a pleasant weekend and I will talk to you soon.
