Pregnancy #3 pregnancy update

Bump Update: 28 weeks

28 weeks and the size of an eggplant

Hello everyone!  This update is for our 28th week of pregnancy!  We are officially in the third trimester!  Yay!!  And what an entrance into the trimester it has been!  For the first time in the history of my pregnancies, I had to come out of the choir stand during a service because I felt so horrible.  I was sad and disappointed, but just couldn’t keep the energy going that I knew I would need.  I was so tired and so weak.  Turns out I have severe anemia thanks to some little bun snatching all my iron!  Now those Icee and Slurpee cravings make sense.

I go tomorrow for our first third trimester appointment and I’m looking forward to it…except the weight part.  I KNOW I’ve gained weight this time.

Week 28: 16-22 May 2019

How far along: 28 weeks
How big is baby: the size of an eggplant (never really had too much eggplant, but it sounds kind of good)

Weight gained: unknown and I am not excited about finding out.
Gender: Unknown (Team Green)
Events of this week:  142nd Church Anniversary

The littles after church

Prepping for: OB Appointment; Parent’s Date Night; Baby Shower for Friend; Memorial Day; Bug’s Spring Concert
Symptoms: Fatigue, Tried, Backpain, Braxton Hicks, Incontinence

Baby/Maternity purchases: None this week.

Stretch marks: Yep and they are fierce, lol

Belly Button: Still in, but very flat
Food cravings: The slurpees are still a thing.  I also want Chinese.  I wonder what deficiency I have makes me want Chinese food and California rolls



Food aversions: Not really

Sleep: Better, but not perfect.  I’m still pretty tired when the clock goes off in the mornings.

Movement: Still having a pretty good amount of movement.  I captured this a couple of days ago.
                                  

Best Moment(s) of the Week: Just hanging out together during the weekend.  It was nice to have family time with no conflicting appointments.

Not so great moment:  The back pain is definitely not fun.

Happy or Moody:  Mixed bag
