Hello everyone! I hope your week has been amazing.  We got to slowly see the transition from warm weather to cooler temps which means Fall approaches!  šŸ‚šŸ And I cannot wait!  But, before we get there, we need to catch up on how things are going with little bean.  We’re 30 weeks this week and I have quite a bit I want to share!

Total weight gain: I weigh 163 pounds.  I believe I have gained 23 pounds since the beginning on my pregnancy, but the doctor has my original weight as 143 which would mean I’ve gained 20.  Either way, I have certainly gained.
Maternity clothes: Yes. They are everywhere.  I’m embracing them more often than not.  This week I wore my “Faith” shirt from Mom Life USA which rocks such a powerful message especially in today’s times.  I’m a sucker for black and white, so you know I was so in love with the shirt.

Stretch marks: Tons of them. It’s a good thing I don’t mind them lol.
Sleep: Readjusting to the regular back-to-school schedule hasn’t really been difficult, but gaining sleep when pregnancy insomnia hits has not been fun at all.  The Hypnobirthing meditations have definitely helped, but I wish they weren’t necessary and I could just nap.  But such is life right now and I will not complain.

Best moment(s) of this week:  The best of week 30 was spending time with the girls after I took them to the salon.  It was so nice just for us to spend time together with no one else.  We talked. We laughed.  We enjoyed our mommy daughter time.  Sometimes that is needed more than anything else in the world.

The other best moment had to be the kids returning to school.  Even virtually, the kids were super excited.  I talked about it at length here.  It was just great to see another milestone and then to also realize that Bug is a high school freshman!  Wow!  That’s just crazy to me!

Not so great moment(s) of this week: I wasn’t able to sleep much for a couple of days there and I really just wanted to rest.  Also, cabin fever is setting in and we are all getting on each other’s nerves.

Gender: We’re still team green.

Any new symptoms: I promise the round ligament pain is a bear this time around.  Sometimes walking is a big challenge.

What I’m missing in this pregnancy:  Pampering.  It’s been a secluded world and while I’m generally a no pamper, no fuss person, I kind of wish we were making memories about this pregnancy.  It just seems like this pregnancy seems to be a status quo, which is sad because it truly is a miracle pregnancy.  I wish we were celebrating it like that.

Cravings and Aversions: I really want all things cold. I have had a LOT of Icees recently.

What I’m looking forward to: Bug turning 14.  I was looking at pictures from his birth and it is amazing to me that he is turning 14.  My baby boy is now about to be a young man in earnest.  Wow.

I’m also looking forward to Fall.  The weather is starting to change and I’m looking forward to it.

Activity level: Starting to walk around the neighborhood and get prepped.  I only have 10 weeks left and I want to make sure that I’m ready.

Anything else: I have some things I want to share and definitely will.  For right now, that’s about it šŸ™‚

Have a great week!! We’ll talk to you soon!
