Hello!  Here’s hoping today was a great week for you!  It was another busy week for me.  I was in the office on Tuesday prepping for my transition to maternity leave in October.  Between you and I, I’m so ready.  I need not to have so much on my plate with virtual learning for both the kids and I (and S.), work, baby prep, and additional work.  It will be nice to only be concerned with baby and prep work.

Total weight gain: Last week I ended at 170 pounds.  I discovered that baby was measuring two weeks ahead and I had excess amniotic fluid.  I have not yet measured myself this week.  I am not sure what my weight is.

Maternity clothes: I’ve worn some pretty cute outfits this week.  I loved the lower temperatures this week.  I was able to wear a sweater and leggings this week, which was awesome because it meant Fall was truly here.  That happened a couple of days.  I was also able to wear my sleeveless maternity dress paired with a denim shirt.  I think it may have been my favorite outfit.

I had to go to the office, so I decided to dress up a little.

Sleep: Hypnobirthing is still on deck.  I’m getting sleep with the help of the the maternity belt.  Though I wake a lot now because I really have to pee.

Best moment(s) of this week: Spending time with the girls while getting their hair done.

Not so great moment(s) of this week: I’ve been more than a little frustrated this week.  Pregnancy hormones can definitely have an impact on your emotional health.

Gender: We’re still team green.

Any new symptoms: Not really.  I’m just really craving ice….a lot of ice.  So, it’s been a lot of slushies and ice pops.
Any prep for baby: I’ve completed the benefits enrollments that make sure the baby is covered when he or she is born.  I’ve also began looking at or gathering small items to go into the labor and delivery bag.

I’ve looked at my birth preferences and am preparing to get that list together.  I definitely want to start serious prep during the month of October.

Cravings and Aversions: Ice.  Seriously.  I want ice.

What I’m looking forward to: Spending some time with the family watching movies and enjoying each other.

Activity level:  It’s finally cool enough to do more outdoor walks and activities.  I’m looking forward to it.  Hopefully, this shortness of breath will calm a bit.

Anything else: Not that I can think of.

I hope you have a great week!
