Hello! Thanks for visiting! Today, I’m wrapping up our Christmas 2020. Parts 1 and 2 can be read here if you are interested. Christmas morning, after everyone got themselves cleaned and dressed, we came downstairs for Christmas breakfast.
We woke up Christmas morning to a beautiful sight. It was snowing! We knew to expect a few snow flurries, but it actually came down for much longer than forecast and was so beautiful as it fell. A White Christmas ❆ was just what we needed with all that happened in 2020. The kids squealed and J. stared outside as it fell. It was such a beautiful sight!
As per our family tradition, I prepared “big breakfast” with our French Toast Casserole, Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Casserole, bacon, red link sausage, orange juice, apple juice, hot chocolate, and egg nog. It was all so yummy! I usually take tons of pictures of the breakfast display, but I didn’t this year. I really did get caught up in the time with family. That was just fine though.
I made up for it in pictures of the kids in their Christmas attire. They looked so cute! Remember when I asked on IG if the I should purchase the Christmas outfits from Sparkle in Pink? Well, I did and they were perfect for the girls! I even purchased matching necklaces. I love that boutique.
And of course Miss Honeybee had to let you see her outfit in totality. BTW, those antlers are hers from another craft year, but she is still rocking them well. After all the posing was done, we FaceTimed my mother so that she could open gifts with us. She’d sent a TON of gifts down for the kids. Grandparents prerogative I’m told, but we are definitely holding some of those for later. Since I was the phone used for FaceTiming, I didn’t get to take pics of the kids opening their gifts.
We rounded out the evening with a yummy Christmas dinner and posed for a few Christmas family shots. Let me tell you something. It is HARD to get two grown fur babies to pose for a camera when they have no desire to do so!

We rounded out the evening with Christmas dinner and phone calls to all of our loved ones. It was a beautiful, low key evening and I was very thankful to spend it with our children.

All in all, it was a wonderful Christmas celebration and I am so thankful for the time we got to spend together. It was certainly different–less chaotic and noisy, but so much fun and so enjoyable with just the core. I loved it and wouldn’t have changed it for anything.
