Hi everyone! It’s another beautiful Monday and I am more than thankful to be a part of it. This weekend was Valentine’s weekend and I wish I could say it was everything I imagined it to be. But….not quite. Nothing bad, but man did I have to let my “but I planned it this way” go. Time for a recap!
So, I did a thing….
I’ve been wanting to change my hair up for a while. I always feel this way after new life and with all the craziness going on I finally decided to just go for it. I contacted my local hair dresser, confirmed all the protocols were in place, and we came up with a new color that just made me feel so fun and vibrant. I love it.
So you guys know that this weekend was Valentine’s Day, right? Remember how excited I was about all the Valentine’s Day plans I had for the kids? Welllll, it didn’t exactly go as planned .
I’d made arrangements to get the kids treat boxes for the Valentine’s Day holiday along with cookies from my favorite baker . The weather man was calling for snow, so I was able to get the treats early, which was fantastic. I’d planned to purchase groceries and gifts for my husband, but something unexpected occurred–freezing ran. It put a stop on everything. I was still excited because I had breakfast plans, but my son used a dozen eggs for a masterpiece he was making and there were none in the house. That’s okay though. It worked out!
Happy Valentine’s Day Baby’s First Valentine’s Day Sibling Conversations
So long story short, I didn’t get to make my special Valentine’s breakfast this weekend, but I have plans to do it today since it is President’s Day. Incidentally, thank you God for a day off work. I need to recover from that all night paper session. I’m also pretty excited because we get to paint and decorate cookies as a family tomorrow.
So today is going to be spend time with the family day. I’m hoping for great memories and sweet joy. I hope to talk to you again soon!
