Hello everyone. Happy April. I was reading my blog post from April 2020, right after our “new normal” was beginning to get real and it’s so amazing how something we thought would like a few weeks has been in place for over a year. Still, there is light appearing at the end of the tunnel with vaccines and lifting of restrictions. Still, I hope we move with caution. Opening too soon could put us right back where we were. So what have we been up to?

Still Teleworking…Mostly
The initial stay-at-home order was to be effective until June 10th. It’s definitely been much longer than that. Still, S. and I remain teleworkers…mostly. About twice a month, I was required to come into the office for an hour long face-to-face, fully-masked meeting with others in my competency cell. Recently, I was temporarily moved to a new time where the mandate is still 100% telework for now. My original team is to begin 50% telework this month. That means returning to the work week on-site 2.5 days out of the work week. We will see how that goes.

Lots of Family Time
One of the good things about the pandemic is we have been blessed to spend a lot of time together. We’ve seen new movies, made new recipes, and have had some really fun craft nights.
Easter Prep
This year, Easter falls on the first weekend of the month. My family and I enjoy this holiday perhaps more than any other because of the significance of it. Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and then offering us salvation. That’s a huge deal to us, especially when none of us have done anything worthy of it. Last year, we held the Easter celebration via Zoom. This year, it looks like we’ll be doing the same, but my father in love has the option of visiting us thanks to his COVID vaccine. It will be nice to have him fellowship with us if he so chooses.

Our church is hosting a socially distant Easter celebration for the kids. We do a drive by this weekend with a sweet surprise for the kids. I look forward to telling you all about it after Easter celebrations are over.
Monthly Goals
Things are slowly opening up, but not quite. So, while I would love to have some amazing adventures, I will start with these goals for the month.
- It’s starting to get warm again. Yay! I would like to spend at least 30 minutes a day outside with the littles.
- It’s time to build up the client list again, so I’d like to received 2 more clients this month.
- Do a thorough Spring Cleaning of the house.
- Complete the Bible plan S., Bug, and I started during the start of the pandemic.
- Plant new flowers.
- Actively engage with my followers on social media.

What I’m Looking Forward To:
You all already know I’m hoping for COVID-free days SOON. But there are a few other things I’m looking forward to as well.
- Easter Fellowship
- Our Wedding Anniversary
- My Mom Visiting
- Shirley-Ann turning 5 months
So, that’s pretty much our list. What about you? What do you hope to get accomplished this month?
-K
