Hello everyone. We’ve come to the start of another month and I am so excited about this one. If you have followed this blog for any amount of time, then you know I am a huge fan of Fall. September ushers in that season in such splendor. I can hardly wait for all of the opportunities to spend time with the family doing fun things with the littles and as a family.

Already there are so many signs of the official start of Fall. Stores are releasing a treasure trove of seasonal items. Starbucks released their traditional Fall menu complete with a Pumpkin Spice Latte and Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino that I refuse to try until the official start of Fall. But I’m seriously tempted though. All of my advertisers are also on the Fall train. Love in Faith, Rotita, and Sparkle in Pink have all been giving me serious Fall vibes and I cannot wait to satisfy the Fall itch.
I haven’t switched to PSL yet, but this Caramel Frappuccino still counts as Fall, right? These boots are FIRE! Already in the cart. I love their clothes! Maybe it’s the nostalgia in me, but I’m loving this farmhouse plaid. Find it here Any this is way too cute for me NOT to have in my Fall files!
Things We’re Looking Forward to This Month
- J’s First Speech Assessment. You may or may not be aware that our little one appears to be speech delayed. He doesn’t speak beyond one or two words and those are only spoken once in a blue moon. He is two years old and should have a pretty lengthy vocabulary, so I am interested in seeing what the specialist thinks is going on, if anything.
- Annual Fantasy Football Party. It’s been a while since our last Fantasy Football party, but we will be hosting one this year and I’m so looking forward to it. There are precautions in place this year because, while things have drastically improved, we are not out of the woods yet. I’m really looking forward to sharing pics of that day with you.
- Bug Turns 15! Wow, we have a real no-kidding teenager now and he’s about to turn 15. Pretty soon, we’ll be driving solo and gaining a little more independence. The big question now is “who is this man child and why is he growing so fast!”
- Day Tripping With My Mom. My mom will be down to visit with the kids and celebrate all the birthdays that have occurred since her July visit. When my mom is down, the kids can get away with a lot more because grandparents hold spoiler rights (haha). I’m looking forward to trying new places and things with her. I think I’ll see if she wants to have lunch with just she and I.

Anything Else?
Tons! I have so many things I want to share about the upcoming Fall season. I’m also doing some serious rebranding over here. Stay tuned for that and some fun surprises that will be coming out of that. I’m also looking forward to spending time with the family in new places on new adventures in new ways. I promise you’ll love what’s coming. Finally, I am preparing to launch the newsletter so I hope you are more than ready for that. Everything else will be a well-kept secret until the day off.
So, there you have it. I hope you all have an amazing September. I hope August was beautiful and that it and September bring a huge smile to your life. Love you and God bless you!
-K
