Spring Break Survival Guide: 20 Spring Activities for Keeping the Kids Entertained and You Sane

Sping Break approaches. Our littles are super excited for a few days of sleeping in and staying up. I am looking forward to appointments that will keep the kids healthy for another year. We’re also excited to get a few things done outside for Spring cleaning. I mean what better time to landscape your yard than when you have a HOST of helpers to get it done!

That being said, there are a lot of parents who will be in the same boat this and in upcoming weeks. All are trying to come up with a few activities to keep them going and it just so happens that I have a great list to help!

  • Have a picnic in the park

  • Plant a garden

  • Have an indoor movie night
  • Go on a hike or spring walk

  • Have a bake day–cakes, cookies, and cupcakes
  • Have a Spring Break “camp” day with events and prizes

  • Have a backyard Spring campout
  • Go rollerskating
  • Have a water fight with balloons
  • Shop local–Visit your local farmer’s market
  • Have a local day–visit the local small business spots in your town

  • Have a homemade pizza night
  • Have a canvas paint night
