DISCLAIMER: This post contains information about our pregnancy. Because I know all too well how these kinds of posts may affect my fellow #ttcsisters and #ttcbrothers, I include this disclaimer to forewarn you. I understand how much these posts can sting and promise to continue to add the disclaimer on any post that may be related to this pregnancy (assuming viability) so that you may have the option to bow out of reading. I understand.
(Disclaimer 2: I actually turned 27 weeks on 28 May, but didn’t want to miss anything in the update, so I have decided my update posts will be the following Monday of the week).
Total weight gain/loss: Unknown. I didn’t weigh myself this week. Last count was +17 pounds at 170.
Maternity clothes?: Yep. Every day, all day.
Favorite maternity outfit: Believe it or not, it was a maternity sleep shirt and some pajama bottoms. I was so comfortable wearing them around the house this week.
Stretch marks?: Yes, sigh. Yes.
Sleep: Not bad. The baby is super active about 10ish. I watch it flip and play until it’s tired, drink some water to rehydrate, and then drift off if the pillows are positioned correctly.
Best moment of the week: Watching my son and husband grill together. S. was teaching him how to marinate meat and turn it. It was a very cool memory.
Not so great moment of the week: My feet were a bit swollen this week. Nothing major and only after being on them all day. Other than that, we were fine.
Braxton Hicks?: Yes. They don’t hurt this week, but they are there. Back and round ligament pain like to follow them though.
Miss Anything?: Moment of transparency. My mommy. She’s in a different state as are most of my relatives and there doesn’t seem to be any talk or plans for a baby celebration. I could not care less about gifts. But I would love to have a celebration for the baby/pregnancy. My birthday is in July. Maybe we can plan something then.
What I’m loving?: Weather I can walk in without being too hot.
What I’m not loving?: The baby punching my bladder. Sometimes I leak.
Anything make you queasy or sick: Heat. Heat makes me sick.
Food cravings: Here’s an odd one. I wanted a Papa John’s works pizza the other day and S. wouldn’t get it. Cool beans. I’ll get it myself later (LOL).
Food aversion: Chicken, blech!
Gender prediction: #teamgreen, but I think it’s a girl. That belly is all kinds of wide
Labor Signs: No!
Belly Button in or out?: Still in, but stretched
Wedding ring on or off?: On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Pretty happy though the hormones are real.
Preparations for baby: Not really
Looking forward to: Seeing my family this weekend. It should be a nice time
